Our History

Unlike most mobile discos, Nite People has a history dating back over 30 years. Dave and Sue East founded Nite People in the 1970's with their love of music. Nite People Mobile Disco soon became a local name.

Within these 30 years, Nite People has hosted many events from local fundraisers to weddings and have even had a float at the local fete. Needless to say, Nite People have performed in many different locations, ranging from your local village hall to small house parties and even at the top of May Hill.

In the year 2000, Dave and Sue decided to retire from the disco scene. At which point the present owner, Chris Davis, took over.

Since this time, the music collection has been continually added to and the equipment has been updated to bring Nite People into the 21st century. So far, we have hosted a range of events from birthday parties with ages ranging from 6 to 80, to village fetes and the Queens Golden Jubilee celebrations at the Longhope Recreation Ground, which took place on the back of a lorry. Now, over 20 years later, we are still going as strong as ever!

Although the owner of Nite People and the equipment has changed, our passion to make your event special has and will always remain.
